The Imperial Republic of Yashima is a country formed of a series of large islands on planet earth. The people and leaders of Yashima have renounced king furry's rule and have selected a more independant lifestyle of rules, laws, and etiquette which is different from the rest of the world, save for other countries like it. Yashima has subsequently become one of the most powerful countries in the entire world, and is a popular tourist attraction, having a rich and thriving economy. In spite of the fact the people and political figures of yashima have rejected the authority and rule of king furry and his royal bloodline, relations between the country and countries/continents in the rest of the world which obey king furry is still quite healthy and stable, at least, on the surface and what the media has shown to cover. The Imperial Republic of Yashima is often referred to as "The Land of The Sacred Wildnerness" due to the large patches of beautiful rural greenery and traditional villages which litter the countryside. The Imperial Republic of Yashima is an enormous archipelago of several thousand islands. The five largest islands of Yashima are Kodou, Nobuo, Karashima, and finally, Asanoda, the center and largest of the four. The capital city of Yashima is Gentaro, where the royal magatsu clan and current emperor of yashima find residence.
